PT. III: THE BANSHEE

The banshee era is heralded with booming bass, intricate synths, and monstrous lyrical themes. Three tracks with an electronic and hip-hop edge, this EP was made in collaboration with producers Rod Wortham and Steve Hybicki (of Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop") to channel the banshee's eerie and chilling spirit.

Tracks:

Backwoods

Walkin' Slowly

Monster

Backwoods Music Video

‘Backwoods’ explores themes that center on self-soothing through indulging delusions of grandeur, in a vacuum of rural isolation. Through unnerving and distinctively Midwestern imagery, the video has a poetic approach to the narrative, and personal lyrics which explore coming-of-age while clinging to the dark remnants of a missing childhood. The leotard is created by designer Maria Olsson and the video is shot by filmmaker Ella Freigang.

Monster Music Video

Monster embodies the writhing, roiling energy of the Banshee's boiling over. Showcasing designs created by up-and-coming designer Maria Olsson, the project was filmed by Carnegie Imagery and edited by the artist & Micah Tewers.
